青りんご、洋ナシの様な香りがほのかに漂う。柔らかく、ふくよかで、まろやかな旨味が特徴的。キレの良い酸も爽快。余韻の渋味が強く若さを感じるが、全体のバランスが良く、若くても呑みごたえがある酒質だ。まだ味の組成が単純なので熟成により複雑さがましていくと、より面白い。
燗につけると、若い香りを僅かに感じつつ、キリッと引き締まった辛口で、エエ感じの爽快さがある。
